Buhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

After waiting in anticipation for the last 5 months (ever since I read about the B-day present here!) i finally recieved a cuddly little siege turtle today!!

However when i opened the box and saw the turlte and accidently (i dont know yet how!) I managed to lose it on the ground (that is it some how fell out of my inventory!) So my siege turtle wanished!!!!!!!!!

Has this happend to any one? Or is it just me and me being clumsey....

sniff... i miss it...i want it back...i never actually saw it following me... sniff

One word of advice... Do not click and drag... There is nothing that can be done now that you lost it... Wait for a new one or go out and buy it... Just dont whine about it on the forums specially in a new thread... Something like this does belong here, but not in its new thread.

I feel your pain... i almost dropped my mini charr once before. Be sure you don't click and drag your mini pet.

Minipets actually dissapear if you drop them? They dont become available for everyone to pick up like, say, if you dropped a longsword? Whoahthatsucks.

Are you sure you lose you pet if you drop them? I've dropped mines tons of times... and i never seem to lose it? Has something changed?

well I see...but there is no need to be allknowing and allmighty...I thought this section of the forums was for writing about any crapp....and there was nt i think any thread relating to this here any way....

and I am not whining just enquiering thats all!!!

But any ways...its a bitt annoying that u lose the pet if u accidently dropp it !

How do you drop and lose something?
First of all, why did you drag it?
Second of all, if you were outside, pick it up again.

lol thats what I thought as well...however there was nothing on the ground...and I was lagging like a stuck cow in the mudd! I could do any thing... except moving ! it was bizzare.....so something odd was happening..i was in the mouth of Commale...hm.. i just wait another three weeks and my necro will get one tooo....and that one will not be lost... (i hope)

What probably happened was since you were lagging when you dropped the pet it was no longer in your inverntory but because of the lag it did not appear on the ground. If the game booted you or you mapped out of the area then yes you would lose your pet for good.
This happens to me sometimes I am trying to put stuff in storage but I will lagg and it will dissapear out of my inventory but not show up in my storage. After logging back in it will be there. Since you dropped it on the ground it is gone for good.
